Camellia Media's Tips and Tricks

The design and development process

So you've completed the quote request form (upon request), we've provided you with an estimated cost for the work to be performed and you've said yes to the site. Now what?

The first step in the website development process is to complete the new client information form. This form provides Camellia Media with information about you, your business and the website you want to create. After we review your form we may contact you to clarify some details and then we will present you will a quote for the work you would like to have completed.

Once we are given the go ahead to do the web design work we will begin planning your design. This step usually takes a week, and we will provide you with a few different "website mock ups" to choose from or work from and alter to your specifications.

Once a design is settled upon we will begin to build your site. Meanwhile, you should begin to think about and finally write the content with which you would like to fill your pages. If you have your own photos to use on the site, you should gather those together as well. If you wish to have photos taken professionally for your project we can recommend photographers with whom we've built solid working relationships.

In the final stages, you will see your site take shape as we begin the testing phase. We finish off the development process by tweaking your site to ensure it looks it's best even in some of the most uncooperative browsers!

Contact Camellia Media for a quote and to find out how we can help you sell yourself, your business or your idea on the web.
